As continued from last year I have for you Barbara Walter’s 10 Most Fascinating People of the year, 2010!
In no particular order here they are!
10. Jersey Shore Cast! Can you say SMOOSH Barbara? Haha, pretty funny to see Snooks think of herself as fascinating! Titillating perhaps, fascinating questionable. Situation’s Dancing however? ATROCIOUS!
9. LeBron James- Just another reason for why I think that teachers and athletes should switch salaries and see who would keep working… ATROCIOUS!
8. Sarah Palin- ATROCIOUS! But that goes without saying of course my ducks! How many times has she been on this thing? The most fascinating thing about her is how she can consider herself patriotic while she is blatant in her hate for so many people!
7. Justin Bieber- His hair is… Wait for it…ATROCIOUS! He really is a smug little bastard- Wow, I’m from Canada and was poor, feel bad for me! Been there done that girlfriend, get a clue, you’ll be gone soon, maybe you can salvage your career – LIVE! That’s a joke- Don’t let him on that show… PLEASE!
6. Kate Middleton- Not terribly fascinating or interesting, I don’t even find her attractive…
; )
5. Sandra Bullock- Come on! So 2009! Jesse James is a douche, so what, so over it, since Tiger and Elin, and Charlie, and the hooker, we’ve heard so much, I’m SICK OF IT!
4. Betty White- Same! Terribly cute, but not much more at this point, wouldn’t it be impressive if she won an Oscar— “Make it Happen” That’s a Mariah song losers!
3. Jennifer Lopez- Quite honestly I don’t have an opinion anymore- American Idol can suck it- X-FACTOR! All the way, coming this fall losers! SO EXICTED!
2. Mark Zuckerberg- If you know me you already know what I think of this little wretch… The Facebook CO-founder has only made me increase my hate for him since the days of Gittles… You really should see his interview with Leslie Stahl of 60 Minutes last week, THAT was fascinging. Seriously, if this kid was worse before I can’t imagine it, he has the most nails on a chalkboard voice I’ve ever heard in my life- Something Barbara said I also found quite interesting, how Facebook is a means for dealing indirectly with people, perfect for Zuckerberg, since quite frankly the Tard is a Social Outcast. No way he was with that Asian before Facebook. ADDED NOTE: Absolutely no interest to see the Social Network.
1. General Petraeus- First was very interesting in a beautiful issue of Rolling Stone starring the one and only GAGALUPE!
Frankly I find this cover more interesting than the man, but whatevs, we can’t all walk around with machine gun bustiers, isn’t that right McChrystal!!!??? AHAHAHAHA!
NOW HERE’s WHAT YOU’VE BEEN WAITING FOR! It’s my Annual list of most Fascinating!!!
10. Little Couple- So sweet! TLC may stand for TRASHILY LAME CHANNEL but these two are so lovely! It’s nice to see a couple on that network that don’t love how many children they have, but how they can overcome such amazing obstacles to be so FASCINATING!
9. Booster Gold: He may be fictional, but he’s my favorite comic book superhero! Fantastic! Love it so much! So happy I started reading comic books- Absolutely FASCINATING!
8. Cast of Law & Order: SVU! Can you believe I JUST got into this 10-year+ show just this year! LOVE IT! Mariska Hargitay, you are fabulous! Chris Meloni- FIERCE! Ice-T, why couldn’t I get your autograph! Richard Belzer- AMAhZING! Dick Wolf… WHY did you run away from me!
7. LEO DICAPRIO! I went to see Inception on my birthday it was WONDERFUL! I really loved it, the artistry, the visuals, the actors, and their performances, especially one Mr. LEONARDO! Christmas hint LOSAHS! And of course, you know I love Christopher Nolan’s direction <3
6. Mariah Carey! Merry Christmas II YOU Mariah! A failed album (Angels Advocate never materialized… :'( ), a pregancy (in the spring), and a Christmas sequel to the best-selling, seminal classic! Can't wait to listen to you HONEY! That's another Mariah song… LOVE YOU!
5. The Talk! This after-school treat is simply Fabulous! The Chen-Bot is in full robotic force in this less-politically charged yet near-Carbon Copy of The View! There may be no polarizing Joy Behar here, but I love it anyways! Lea Remini and Sharon Osbourne always add that much needed spice! Keep going girls! Congrats on all the success!
4. Ke$ha! Carnivore Animal- she is a Cannibal! SEriousLY! I want Animal Cannibal for Christmas… PLEASE! Love this chick, she is so fly with her glitter, videos, and everything else, F*ing love it! You were fabulous on the Last Girl on Earth Tour with RiRi!
3. Nicole Scherzinger! This POISONous dancing beast won our hearts during the instant-classic 10th season of DANCING WITH THE STARS! Absolutely FLAWLESS, with in due part to the astounding choreography of one Derek Hough! Hope to see you LIVE! DAHHLING!
2. KATY PERRY + Natasha Bedingfield! I absolutely loved “TEENAGE DREAM” and it deserved every Grammy nomination it got! Hopefully, it’ll win Album of the Year! Here’s to your 3 number ones in one year, and to even more in the next! My dear Natasha, from the moment we met, I knew we had a connection! Even though I didn’t get to see you this week, I have all your music and love you from the bottom of my heart!
1. Well, well, well, what a surprise! It’s BRITNEY SPEARS! Haha, y’all who disagree can kiss her lily-white Louisiana Ass! She is the QUEEN! I love you so much Britney, you are Fascinating, AMAZING, Wonderful, and everything else in the book! Can’t wait for the new album in March! Keep doing you Brit!
Well done and Congrats to the Winners! (And losers too Sarah and Biebs!) HEE HEE
Rihanna’s “Rude Boy” shows no signs of stopping, staying a fifth week at number one on the Hot 100. B.o.B.’s “Nothin on You” featuring Bruno Mars sticks at number two, for the fourth consecutive week, followed by Train’s “Hey Soul Sister.”
Upward Movement- The stellar “If We Ever Meet Again” by Timbaland featuring Katy Perry flies 74-59 this week.
On Hot Dance Club Play, American Idol second-place finisher, Blake Lewis collects his first number one on a chart with “Heartbreak on Vinyl.”
Pop Songs- After four weeks on top, Lady Gaga and Beyoncé finally have ended their domination with “Telephone” at the hands of Jason Derulo’s “In My Head.” With this, Derulo becomes the first male to have his first two entries on Pop Songs go number one. You will remember former number-one “Whatcha Say” peaked in the penthouse position last year of both Pop Songs and the Hot 100. This week “In My Head” moves upward to number five on the Hot 100.
So here I leave you with Mr. Derulo’s “In My Head.” A boring chart week overall, yawn! Did I forget anything, let me know!
I predict a more exciting week next week, with the debut of the new single from a certain diva I love, Christina Aguilera’s “Not Myself Tonight!”
Two of my favorite Pop music superstars are joining forces for a wonderful tour! The Last Girl on Earth Tour will feature Rihanna as the headliner with the wonderful Ke$ha as the opening act.
The tour has already sold out Madison Square Garden, good job Rihanna!
The tour is reported having trouble selling out other shows however, and guest Nicki Minaj has dropped out. Wise move, or will she regret it?
Click here to get your tickets to join the festivities! I think I’m going to the Nikon at Jones Beach Theater show in August, who wants to join me?
It’s new Chart Thursday! Little movement in the top 10 of the Hot 100 though, the top 8 spots remain unchanged… Let’s take a closer look-
At the Top- Hot 100- Rihanna stays on top for a fourth week with “Rude Boy,” while also gaining Airplay Honors for this week. Pop Songs- Lady Gaga and Beyoncé stay the most played on Pop radio with “Telephone” clocking in at a fourth week on top. Rihanna plows full steam ahead with “Rude Boy” jumping 7-5, expect it to go top 3 next week. Dance Club Play- Ono scores her seventh number one in total and fourth consecutive number one with “Give Me Something.”
Mover and Shaker- The theme song from Miley Cyrus’ film The Last Song, “When I Look at You” is the Hot 100 chart’s Digital Gainer, jumping 25-16. Still no radio play though…
Debut- The chart’s top debut comes from Usher featuring Will.i.am’s “OMG,” which blasts in at number 14, due to a performance on American Idol last week.
Special Note: Well chart readers, my hopes of having the first number one country song of this era is over, as I think Lady Antebellum’s “Need You Now” is on the serious decline. After stalling at number two for the past few weeks on the Hot 100 and Pop Songs, the dream is over.
Oh well, let me leave you with the biggest country crossover since Taylor Swift’s “You Belong With Me,” but tell me your opinion… Will Antebellum be on top next week, or possibly Train with “Hey Soul Sister” or even Rihanna with a fifth week at number one with Rude Boy… Only the charts and time will tell!
Sorry about the quality, the official wouldn’t let me embed! Comment fools!
So y’all know that I’m obsessed with the Billboard Charts, and new charts come out every Thursday, so Imma discuss them with you now.
The Hot 100
This is the chart of all charts- all songs are ranked here, and receive points according to airplay, downloads, and an number of other factors. At the Top Rude Boy- Rihanna with a 3rd week at the top! Congrats Rihanna, as Rude Boy gains Airplay Honors for the sixth week in a row, jumping 2-1 on RADIO SONGS and reaches a new peak of 7 on POP SONGS.
Pop Songs
AKA, the ‘Mainstream Top 40,’ tracks hear are measured by total audience impressions on pop / CHR Top 40 stations, rather than total spins. Telephone by Lady Gaga and Beyoncé remains at number one for the third week in a row.
Other Notes Dance/Club Play Selena Gomez gets her first number one a chart with “Naturally.” Digital Songs Train is number one with the not so fantastic “Hey Soul Sister” Billboard 200 Albums The ‘Biebs” My World 2.0, but don’t worry, it’ll pass soon enough, Usher comes out with a new album next week.
As you chart reader muse over this week’s totals, I’ll leave you with the number one song of the week, Rihanna’s “Rude Boy.” But the question is, will it be number one next week?… Stay tuned and find out!
